Garden to Table: Soup & Sherry Afternoon

There is something special about gathering around a table and sharing good food made with love — especially when that food begins right outside your door.

At Inner Peas, we recently hosted a Soup & Sherry afternoon, bringing together good company, warm bowls of homemade soup and the wonderful flavours of vegetables grown right here in our garden.

Our home-grown vegetables were the heart of the afternoon. Freshly harvested produce was transformed into comforting, delicious soups, showing just how much flavour and goodness can come from growing your own food. From the garden to the kitchen and finally to the table, every part of the experience reflected what Inner Peas is all about: growing, creating, sharing and making the most of what we have.

Guests enjoyed a relaxed afternoon surrounded by the beauty of our garden, delicious homemade food, freshly baked accompaniments and, of course, a little sherry to warm the soul.

But it was more than just a meal. It was an opportunity to slow down, connect with others and experience the joy of garden-to-table living.

We believe that food tastes even better when you know where it comes from. Growing our own vegetables allows us to appreciate the journey from seed to harvest and reminds us that sustainability can be simple, practical and delicious.

Our Soup & Sherry afternoon was a celebration of exactly that.

At Inner Peas, we don’t just grow vegetables — we grow experiences, memories and a deeper connection with the food we eat.

Keep an eye out for our next garden gathering or workshop. There is always something growing at Inner Peas — and there is always a place at our table for you.
