There’s something truly special about learning with your hands.
We hosted a beautiful outdoor pasta-making class, surrounded by fresh air and energy and the simple joy of creating something from scratch. With chefs Robyn and Leon from Revival Gourmet Cuisine guiding us, the experience felt both relaxed and inspiring.
From the moment we started mixing flour and eggs, there was a sense of connection, not just to the food, but to each other. No rush, no pressure. Just hands in dough, laughter in the air and the satisfaction of seeing something come together step by step.
What stood out for me was how something as simple as pasta can bring people together. Watching everyone roll, shape and learn at their own pace was a reminder that food is more than just nourishment, it’s an experience.
Of course, I couldn’t help but think about how this connects to my own journey. Just like drying vegetables, making pasta from scratch is about slowing down, appreciating the process and understanding what goes into what we eat.
It was a beautiful day to cook in the garden, pairing fresh wholesome ingredients picked from the garden and making something tasty to eat. I felt a deep satisfaction knowing that the ingredients came from my garden.
Moments like these are what inspire me to keep sharing, teaching and growing.
A big thank you to chefs Robyn and Leon from Revival Gourmet Cuisine for sharing their skills so generously and to everyone who joined us and made the day so memorable.
Would you join a hands-on class like this?
